Conservation Committee



To assist with SCF’s programme development and monitoring, the Board and CEO are
supported by a Conservation & Science Committee, chaired by a Board member.

Committee members currently include:

• Dr. Ed Spevak
• Dr. Brian Bertram
• Dr. Steven Monfort
• Mr. John Newby

The Conservation & Science Committee is also responsible for organizing the annual meetings
of the Sahelo-Saharan Interest Group (SSIG) as well as editing its proceedings. These can
